Where senses dissolve and the sacred speaks
Synesthesia of India is a sensory remembering.
Returning to India stirred something deeper than nostalgia it activated a feeling in my body that was both familiar and foreign.
In this series, I layered photography from my travels with abstraction and collage to translate that experience - where sound becomes color, memory becomes texture, and the ordinary becomes sacred.
These works explore the emotional space of diaspora: the feeling of belonging and distance existing at the same time.
